Nykaa is an online beauty store where you get a lot of drugstore and high end products. They also run offers where you can get drugstore makeup at very good discounted prices. I am a regular customer of nykaa and keep shopping often and I really love nykaa. Nykaa sends 100 percent original products so no need to worry about fake products. So recently nykaa launched their new range of makeup. They have came up with their kajal, eyeliner, nail paints, body lotion, body mist and lipsticks. I was so very excited to try them out. Hence I went ahead and placed an order for lipsticks ( yay). So if you want to know further more about the product please keep on reading.
This is a Mac Matte Lipstick in the color Pink Pigeon. The color is described by Mac as a bright cleanest pink. Mac pink pigeon lipstick review Pink Pigeon is a bright pink that might not suit dusky Indian skin tones but will look great on fair to medium skin tones. The shade in bright sunny weather looks awesome. It looks so neon pink on me which I really love. Just like Candy Yum Yum, Pink Pigeon is too drying & patchy to be a $16 lipstick. I have WNW l/s that applies better. However I loved the color of Mac PP so went on the hunt for a quality dupe.

- The MAC site describes it as a 'frosted midtonal pink,' but I don't notice any frost to this lipstick. In fact, I think that when ' Pink Pearl Pop' was released in a new permanent 'collection' (an extension of their permanent line), it was described to have a cremesheen and pearl finish, to reflect on the 'frosted' characteristic.
- Colors like Girl About Town, All Fired Up, Show Orchid and Pink Pigeon are perfect with this pencil. Hot pink lipstick – Process Magenta is a the liner for you. Is a good light pink pencil for MAC lipsticks Snob, Pink Plaid and Angel. I’d recommend it for Nc15-Nc25 skin tones.

In Detail Nykaa So Matte Lipstick Devious Pink 03 M Review, Swatches and My Experience
It comes in a classic cardboard box packaging and when you open it, there is the lipstick inside it. I really love the packaging of the lipstick. It’s really different from the regular boring lipstick packaging. The packaging looks bulky when you see it but its actually lightweight. The lipstick itself has a magnetic lid hence it shuts properly and doesn’t open up in your bag. The shade name is mentioned on the bottom of the lipstick. Hence one can find the shade easily. I am so sorry guys I won’t be able to share the pic of the cardboard packaging as I threw it away. So please excuse me for it.
Coming on to the shades they have about 13 Shade in this range. So I am quite happy with the shade selection. They have also launched the fall winter matte shades. Hence, overall they have 26 shades in this range which is good and one can find an appropriate shade from this range easily.
Coming on to the review I will be reviewing the shade 03 that is devious pink from this range.

Now this shade is a beautiful soft pink color which one can wear easily. This shade will flatter people with all complexions be a fair, medium or deep. I really love how this shade looks on me. I have been wearing this shade nonstop and I am still not tired of it.
Now although nykaa claims this to be a “so matte” lipstick but to be honest it’s not really a matte lipstick. It has a satin finish to it. This lipstick does transfer but at the end leaves a beautiful stain behind. The pigmentation is great too. One swipe and you get fully opaque coverage on your lips.
The texture of this is very smooth. It glides on very smoothly. There is no tugging or pulling on the lips. It’s very moisturising to the lips. Lastly coming on to the staying power it stays on my lips for good 4-5 hours after which it leaves a soft stain behind.

Would I Recommend Nykaa So Matte Lipstick Devious Pink
Yes, I will. Although the lipstick is not matte but the finish is quite comfortable. Also, on top of it it’s decently priced as well. I won’t say that it’s one of the best lipsticks available, but it’s not that bad as well. From the price point of view one can definitely try it out.
MBF Advises
1) If you have extremely dry and chapped lips apply a moisturiser underneath your lipstick.
2) If you have very dark lips and the color is not showing that good apply a nude lipliner first and then apply lipstick on top of it.
3) If you want to make the lipstick look glossy apply Vaseline or a gloss on top of it.
4) To increase the wear time of your lipstick, apply a lip primer and a lip pencil.
5) To remove the lipstick properly use coconut oil or a makeup remover.
